Information and instructions due to the corona situation has just been updated on www.chalmers.se/en/news/corona-virus/<http://www.chalmers.se/en/news/corona-virus/>

In summary, recommendations in the following areas have been updated following decisions by Chalmers central crisis management group and agreement with the president, Stefan Bengtsson:

  *   Chalmers is prepared for all activities – education, research and utilisation, and operations support – to continue, though most of the teaching and employees' daily work will be done remotely, from home. Employees are recommended to work from home as far as possible, in dialogue with your respective manager. This recommendation currently applies from 17 March – 31 March. As usual, planning and coordination of the work is led by your manager.
  *   Chalmers will not permit any business travel internationally, and only operationally critical travel within Sweden. What is considered operationally critical is decided by the Head of Department.
  *   Study visits and other student trips arranged by Chalmers University of Technology are currently cancelled until 31 May.
  *   All physical conferences, meetings and visits with external participants, arranged by Chalmers University of Technology, should be rescheduled to digital format or cancelled until 31 May. The recommendation is also to carry out physical internal meetings digitally instead, as much as possible, until 31 May.
  *   Employees and students who have been abroad and returned after 14 March should work/study from home for 14 days.
  *   Employees and students who are traveling abroad for work or study, are asked to return to Sweden and to work or study from home for 14 days.
  *   Students on exchange studies abroad are asked to consult with Chalmers International Mobility Team, CIM<https://student.portal.chalmers.se/en/contactservice/Pages/Exchange-students.aspx> on whether to return to Sweden or not. Students who are on vessel-based placement should contact their internship coordinator.
