Den 31 oktober 2010 är sista dag då man kan använda vår gamla VPN-tjänst. Efter detta datum kommer enbart den nya L2TP VPN-tjänsten att fungera. På ITS-administrerade datorer skall detta redan vara utbytt. På egenadministrerade datorer måste man själv ändra till den nya, se http://www.chalmers.se/insidan/SV/arbetsredskap/it/bastjanster/natverk-pa-distans



Vi skickar email till alla personer som använt Cisco VPN någon gång under de tre sista månaderna och informerar om ändringen. Exempel på ett sådan brev bifogas nedan

The last day it is possible to use the old Cisco VPN service is October 31, 2010. After this date it is only possible to use the newer L2TP VPN service. All computers that are administrated by ITS are already updated. On self administered computers the user must change to the new service, see http://www.chalmers.se/insidan/EN/tools/it/basic-services/vpn



We are currently sending email to all persons that have been using the Cisco VPN during the last 3 months and inform them about this change. An example of a such email is enclosed below

Vi vill återigen påminna om att vår gamla Cisco VPN-tjänst upphör den 31 oktober 2010. Du måste byta till den nya L2TP VPN innan detta datum om du inte redan gjort det.



Du får detta brev därför att vi sett att du har använt vår gamla VPN-tjänst för anslutning till Chalmers datanät någon gång under de tre senaste månaderna.



Om du redan har bytt till vår nya L2TP VPN-tjänst kan du bortse från denna påminnelse

connect to Chalmers computer network.
