Måndag den 28 mars 2022 kommer IT-avdelningen att släcka ned tjänsten Skype for Business.

Anledningen är att Microsoft Teams har ersatt Skype for Business för videomöten på Chalmers.
Dessutom har MiCollab ersatt Skype for Business för vanliga telefonsamtal.

Du kan dock fortfarande använda vanliga Skype för samtal utåt, men då med ditt privata konto.

Behöver du samtala med utomstående organisationer som endast använder Skype for Business? Då kommer du att kunna använda Microsoft Teams för det istället, när Skype for Business är nedsläckt.

On Monday the 28th of March 2022, the IT Office will terminate the Skype for Business service.

This is due to the Microsoft Teams service having replaced Skype for Business for video meetings at Chalmers.
In addition, the MiCollab service has replaced Skype for Business for ordinary phone calls.

You may still use the common Skype service for external calls, but with your private account only.

Do you need to speak to external organisations who only accept Skype for Business? You will be able to use the Microsoft Teams service for this instead, when the Skype for Business service is terminated.
