Good morning All,

The recommendations due to the corona virus have been discussed in the Department Management Group and we, the group leaders in our Division, have also discussed the aspects of returning to work at campus. The situation may change depending on the development of the virus and infections. We all need to be alert the developments. Keep contact with your group leader and me. The following applies.

You are to follow the recommendations about the maximum number of people for each room including our lecture halls, Personalrum and seminar rooms and to keep a safe distance.

There will be a mixture of teaching on site and virtual during the first teaching period. At present, the plan is to have all teaching on campus during the second teaching period. The lab sessions will be on campus and risk assessments need to be made for them. Please contact the course examiner for further information. The rules for teaching on campus are different between Chalmers and GU. This need to be considered when planning the courses.

For the details of each individual projects you need to discuss with your group leader and plan the work also considering the safety aspects. Yu are welcome to contact me if there are questions.

Always rember to be alert to symptoms and do not go to campus if you have symptoms. Keep in contact with your group leader adn me.

The Division seminars once a month will continue. We will also introduce our new Division members. I am looking forward to it all.

The Department Management Group will meet next Monday, August 23rd, and one item on the Agenda is the adjusted return for employees. I and the group leaders in our Division will keep you informed about the development of the recommendations.
