I just wanted to send some information about a seminar that is arranged by Big Science Sweden. It focuses on beam instrumentation and there are two speakers, one from CERN and one from MAX IV. Beam instrumentation comprises diagnostics for monitoring and controlling all the necessary beam characteristics along a particle accelerator, and is therefore a crucial component in the successful operation of the accelerator.

Beam instrumentation and diagnostics combine different disciplines of accelerator physics with mechanical, electronic, and software engineering. Orders relating to the instrumentation include design, manufacture, maintenance, and improvement of the diagnostic equipment.
