So far, you and Hans have said that it is not working for you (or just with workarounds). I'm not fond of MS Teams either and would happily switch to another shared platform. But it must be a shared decision, and not my personal one. Also, if we don't have free access to another solution, we could pay the license fee for something that works for all of us. Does any of you have a good suggestion? Maybe, we should make this discussion a priority at next week's meeting? I re-attach the guidelines from the PO for your convenience. Updates are on MS Teams; file attached for convenience. Given availability of PIs, key activities have been mapped onto Tue/Wed/Thu morning. Sorry to say but won?t be able to join the call on Thursday. Here are the main things to know: * Green bits (provided by graduate school) have been confirmed and booked and prefer not to move these around. Sessions that are entirely ours can still be swapped around. * I had made a mistake and was assuming more hours than we have available. Fixing that means the schedule is a bit tighter. Aiming for 9:00 - 17:30 days. We will likely run over on Tue/Wed. * Still need to determine what our RELAX technical sessions will entail * Still need confirmation from industry partners. Loads of details still TBC. Can we ask for PhD students to confirm travel plans as well, in particular to see if there is scope to arrange something social on Monday? We?re trying to find a suitable place as the usual places are already booked. In addition, everyone would need to have loose clothing with them, e.g., sweatpants and t-shirts. Just wanting to check that the logistics of this are manageable. However, most often we do not generate new data and simply reuse data available online. As such, the data handling issue is not our responsibility, we are simply users of the data. As such, we can only refer to the publisher of the data and their commitment. We could do this again and again for every question, but maybe not desired. I think we need to agree a common way to answer this in a satisfactory way for those case where no new data is generated. But you will generate new algorithms to analyze the data, won?t you? It is one thing to explain (perhaps commonly for all) the re-use of data but maybe you would need to look at the questions from a different perspective and ask how you will work with the analysis of the re-used data? How will you store, archive, and publish the new data of these analyses? If agreed by all, I suggest having a discussion about the DMP (that is a mandatory document in EC projects) at the next project meeting so that we align across the network.
