[Driftstörning] FYI - maillists moved + passwords will be sent by email

Som ett steg i avvecklingen av vår gamla mailserver, flyttades natten till tisdag alla maildistributionslistor till vår listserver ( http://lists.chalmers.se/ ).

Flytten gäller ENBART de listor som funnits kvar på gamla servern, de maillistor som tidigare (2007-) flyttats till nya Exchange epostservern berörs inte.

Ni som är angivna som list-administratörer för respektive emailadress kommer under dagen att få ett administratörslösenord utskickat till sig via email. Dessa lösenord gäller enbart respektive lista och inget annat.

För information om hur man hanterar maillistor i det nya systemet, hänvisar vi till de anvisningar som finns på respektive webbsida på list-servern.

Vi beklagar att information om detta inte gick ut innan flytten, det blev en miss i vår interna kommunikation angående detta.

För att verifiera att det är korrekt att vi skickar ut lösenord via epost kan man ringa till vår telefonsvarare på anknytning 6700 eller se på webben via Chalmers hemsida under:
Insidan -> Arbetsredskap -> IT -> Aktuellt,  och få denna e-postning bekräftad.

De listor du administrerar är:

The mail lists on the old mail server was moved during the night and are now on the mail list server ( http://lists.chalmers.se/ ).

The move affects ONLY those mail lists that was still left on the old mail server, those lists that already (2007- ) have been moved to the new Exchange mail server are not affected.

Those who are registered as list administrators will be sent a password for each list via email. These passwords are valid for each list only.

For information about how to maintain the lists, please use the documentation available on the web pages in the new system.

We are sorry that we did not inform about this before the move, we failed in our internal communication in this matter.

If you would like to verify that it is true that we are sending out passwords via email, you can phone to our answering machine on extension 6700 or see the (Swedish) webpage at Chalmers Homepage -> Insidan -> Arbetsredskap -> IT -> Aktuellt.
