Info om filserver SOL

Vi har fortsatt problem med den centrala filservern, SOL, vilken
används av både Windows och Linux-datorer. Servern startar
ibland om utan förvarning och denna omstart tar ca 5 minuter.
Under denna tid saknas tillgång till centrala filer och data.

Åtgärder är vidtagna för att minska antalet omstarter och
dessa har visat sig fungera, men innebär markant minskad
prestanda för Linux-systemen.

Arbete med att hitta en hållbar lösning pågår.
Vi kan i dagens läge inte ge en uppskattning på när problemen
kommer att vara lösta.

Info about file server SOL

We still have problems with the central file server, SOL,
which is used by both by Windows and Linux computers.
The server restarts without warning now and then, and it
will then take about 5 minutes before the files are
available again.

Actions have been made in order to reduce the number of
restarts, these seems to work. Unfortunately, the result
is also significantly lower performance for the Linux
computers.

Work on finding a robust solution is ongoing.
We are currently unable to give an estimate of when the
problems will be resolved.
