[Driftstörning] Problem med sol (filserver)

Hej!

Det är problem med filservern "sol.ita.chalmers.se".  Sedan förra veckan 
går det väldigt långsamt att ladda och spara filer, särskilt från 
Windowsdatorer.  Detta gäller bland annat gruppfilutrymmen där man 
arbetar med gemensamma dokument.

Vi har hittat vad problemet beror på, och vi jobbar nu med att ta fram, 
testa och driftsätta en lösning.  Vår ambition är att ha en fungerande 
filservertjänst på plats under juni månad.

Right now there are problems with the fileserver "sol.ita.chalmers.se". 
Since last week, loading and saving files is often very slow, especially 
from Windows computers.  This affects group file areas, where you work 
on documents common to the entire organization.

We have identified the cause of the problem, and we are currently trying 
to develop and test a solution, and put it into production.  Our goal is 
to have a working file service in place sometime before the end of June.
