Vi har just nu problem med vår centrala unix/linux filserver vilket påverkar många andra system på Chalmers. En omstart av systemet hjälpte inte så vi jobbar vidare på att lösa problemet så snabbt som möjligt. Eftersom orsaken ännu inte är känd är det svårt att säga hur lång tid det kan ta. Felet gör att hemmakataloger för Linuxanvändare samt gemensamma gruppfilutrymmen inte är tillgängliga och det
är troligen problem att logga in på många Linux-datorer. Några www-servrar i webhotellet fungerar inte heller pga detta.

There is currently a problem with our central unix/linux file server, which affects a lot of other systems at Chalmers. We have restarted the system but it did not work so we continue to work to solve this problem as soon as possible. Since the cause of this problem are yet unknown it is hard to estimate how long it will take to solve this problem. Currently the home directories for Linux users, and all common group file areas, are unavailable. It is probably also problems to login at some Linux computers. Some www-servers in our web hotel are also down because of this.
