Dear PhD Students,
I hope this message finds you well. I’m writing to invite you to join me in taking part in a study group for the “Machine Learning on Graphs” online course from Stanford University. This is a great opportunity for us to explore graph learning and its real-world applications together.
Here are some key details about the course:
• Course Title: Machine Learning on Graphs (CS224W)
• University: Stanford University
• Course Link: Course website<https://snap.stanford.edu/class/cs224w-2023/>
• YouTube Playlist: Course lectures<https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLoROMvodv4rPLKxIpqhjhPgdQy7imNkDn>
• Examiner: Alexandre Graell i Amat
• Credits: 7.5 credits
Plan:
We will be covering the first 8 weeks of the course (exact details to be determined). The plan is to watch the lecture videos on YouTube and then meet as a group to discuss the content. Our discussions will take place in class with Àlex’s participation.
Final Exam:
Instead of a traditional exam, there will be a project focused on real-world graph-structured data. More details about the project will be discussed later in the course.
Start Date:
We aim to start around January 20th, so please let me know if you are interested as soon as possible.
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact me. Also, feel free to send this email to anyone who might be interested.
Best regards,
Javad
