Dear Johan an Ron:
This letter is to inform you that I have assumed as the new representative of the Universidad Católica de la Santísima Concepción (Chile) to the CDIO Initiative.
Our former representative, Mr. Cristian Cárdenas, has assumed new responsibilities in the University.  Even though, he still collaborates with us, he is unable to continue in charge of the CDIO Initiative in our Faculty.
My nomination as university representative to CDIO Initiative is endorsed by our Dean, the Faculty Council and the academic community that collaborates in the implementation of CDIO in our Faculty.
I am Civil Engineer, with a PhD on Structural Engineering, and I have been Academic at the UCSC since 2004.
Currently, I hold the position of School Director of the Faculty of Engineering and I am the responsible of the Undergraduate Teaching of the entire Faculty.
I have been participating at CDIO since 2012 taking part in several national and Latin-American meetings.
Finally, I want to express the commitment  of our university and myself with the CDIO Initiative. The impact of this Initiative in our engineering curricula and teaching practice is remarkable and it has become in one of our keystone of our academic work.
