    Dear Colleagues,

With this 2nd announcement of the 14th International Conference on Synchrotron Radiation Instrumentation (SRI) 2021 we like to invite you to participate in this important event for the field of synchrotron radiation and free-electron laser science and technology.

The SRI 2021 conference will take place from 30 August - 3 September 2021 and is organised by DESY and the European XFEL in Hamburg (Germany).
With the European XFEL, PETRA III and FLASH, Hamburg is home to three unique facilities and this conference offers many opportunities for exchange of know-how, in addition to an exciting conference program.

The abstract submission has been opened - if you are interested in presenting your research, please submit your abstract here:
    https://indico.desy.de/event/27430/abstracts/

Postponed deadline for abstract submission: 5 March 2021

The SRI 2021 is currently organised as a hybrid event (both on-site presence and remote access). We are exploring all possibilities on how to run the conference in light of the COVID pandemic and will decide in the next weeks if a hybrid format can be retained or if a pure remote access mode will have to be chosen. For further information, please visit the official conference webpage:

DESY and European XFEL are delighted to welcoming you at the SRI 2021!

    Best regards,
The Local Organising Committee of the SRI 2021 Conference
