You are now part of a mailing list that includes all the Phd students of the DSAI division. This can be useful for messages that are important to reach out to all of us, not all keep track of the slack group (let me know if you are not on the slack and would like to join, try to join dsai-hq.slack.com and contact me if you can not). I am looking for someone to manage this mailing list, mostly being proactive about making sure new students are added to the list. The rough plan is to start by meeting for 1-2 hours online some time in October and discuss questions that usually arise when TA-ing, how different TA-ing can be for different courses/examiners etc. To prepare the meeting, I would like to ask 1-2 of the new(er) PhD-students with some prior experience of TA-ing (possibly as student-TA) to help collect interesting and relevant questions for the workshop. Please answer the following: a) Indicate if you are interested in the workshop or not: https://doodle.com/poll/y5zpshzr4up5da45 b) Please write a short email if you can help me collect input for the workshop, reply preferably no later than Monday 28/9. I have noticed a few of the new (and old) students did not join the ML seminar (Arman presented today). It is a good opportunity to learn about different topics even if it is not directly related to your research. Some of the new students might not on the email list yet, you should make sure to join here: https://groups.google.com/forum/#%21forum/chalmers-ml-seminars/join If you have trouble joining maybe Arman/Emil can help put you on the list if you send them a message.
